Laura Goodman

Laura Goodman has been a paralegal with The Elderlaw Firm since 2005. Laura is directly involved with assisting our clients, in areas of asset preservation, estate planning and probate. Our clients quickly appreciate Laura's calm, friendly manner and insightful analysis, and her attention to detail. Laura has a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Michigan. Before starting her career as a paralegal Laura worked as a business reporter and writer. Laura helps to write and edit our Elderlaw Today newsletter, and she is the firm's resident grammar expert among other things.

Laura is a North Carolina Certified Paralegal and a member of the Paralegal Division of the North Carolina Bar Association. She is also the paralegal liaison to the Elder Law section council of the North Carolina Bar Association. Laura and her husband, Blair, have two daughters who have been active in club and school soccer throughout high school and into college.
