NEW – Associate Attorney for Estate Planning & Elder Law

Are you driven and focused?  Wanting to make a difference and accelerate your career?

Maybe you’re burnt out and tired of working 60+ hours a week?

The Elderlaw Firm plans to add an estate planning and/or estate administration attorney. We’re looking for the right lawyer to join us. Founded by Dennis Toman, a nationally known lawyer in one of the fastest growing legal fields today, our firm focuses on estate planning and elder care issues for seniors and boomers.

To make a difference and be effective on this well-organized elder law team, ideally the successful candidate must have a JD, active North Carolina law license, 1-3 years’ experience in estate administration, estate planning and/or elder law and be driven to serve clients. We may also consider candidates with other legal experience with transferable skills, a desire to learn and draft estate planning documents.

Here’s what we’re also looking for:

  • exceptional research and writing skills;
  • excellent verbal communication skills;
  • ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment;
  • a team player with superb organizational, follow through and time management skills;
  • the ability to deliver fantastic client service;
  • willingness to draft documents;
  • a great attitude; and
  • having a positive influence on the firm’s culture.

Essentially, you’d do well if you take initiative, possess a strong work ethic, and think like an owner. We want to support our employees to accomplish goals important to them, through a supportive work environment, positive encouragement and mentoring.

If you think you have what it takes, we’d love to speak with you. For the right person, we are open to considering a flexible work arrangement.

Please submit your resume and cover letter, including why you think that you’d be a great addition to our firm and your past experience with elder law and estate planning, to [email protected]. We look forward to hearing from you! (Please don’t call, because we have a busy practice but we will respond to qualified candidates who are passionate about estate planning and elder care law.)
